It's not, if only because we never find out anything about their respective afterlives at all, other than the Sacred Groves, and that's not really an afterlife.

Okay, so the Axe-Wielders are not priests. Either that or Douglass has 'taken holy orders' confused with 'made vows', in which case I'm going to laugh at her.

I guess they're meant to be more like the Knights Templar or something?
